| I saw this spoon and thought- how wonderful! Here is a spectacular example of Art Nouveau Silver at it's finest. Unger Brother's at the Turn of the last century created some remarkable flatware, hollow ware and jewelry! The pattern name is Cupid Sunbeams and it was discontinued in 1904. This spoon is 6" L with a 1 1/4" W bowl at it's widest. Those of you out there is silver land will know exactly what kind of spoon this is. It looks to me like a teaspoon. But now the best part is the fabulous Nouveau design of two young maiden's faces with whiplike cascading hair or flowing grass on the front and back of the spoon. Just Fab! Marked on back of spoon with intertwined UB- Unger Brothers Hallmark, STERLING, 925 Fine. I have not attempted to polish the spoon at all and will leave that to the discretion of the next owner. Excellent all original vintage condition! A really wonderful spoon by famed Art Nouveau silversmith's, Unger Brothers! | ||
