| I just bought a collection of purses from an estate. This one I thought was so beautiful with it's tatwork, beading and cream colored satin liner. The daughter- age 70- told me it was either her mother's or her grandmothers. Maybe for a wedding... I think it is at least 80 years old. It had been wrapped carefully in tissue paper and is in remarkable condition. Measuring 7 1/2" W x 5 1/2". The beads are a silver in color and are hand sewn all over the purse. Inside liner in cream colored satin in mint condition. There may have been a chain on the purse at one time as there is evidence that there were 2 rings - one on each side of the snap closure. No big deal- just mentioning for accuracy. A lovely early purse, offered with no reserve! Pics don't do this one justice! | ||
