A resale from a Santa Fe collection, of a relief carving on wood by established Texas artist Carl Dixon. Dixon is known for his naive style in portraying Black musicians and religious figures. Signed and dated 1996. Size: 24 x 17.75" Originally sold by a Santa Fe Gallery in 1997.

A classic painted canvas and wool lined work vest by Haida artist Bernice Williams whose Tribal name is Skundal. Williams is not only a well known artist and carver in her own right but is known for being the first woman carver to apprentice with world renowned Haida artist Bill Reid. This work vest is signed and dated 1990. It is very lightly soiled and has one small area of spotting which we have not attempted to clean. 30.75" in length X 21" at the bottom and 20.5" at the chest.
