It is in excellent condition, unframed, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Daniel Schwartz, American (1929-), was born in New York, graduated from the High School of Music and Art, studied with Yasuo Kuniyoshi at the Art Students League, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Rhode Island School of Design. He has taught at the Parsons School of Design. Daniel Schwartz is known for his traditional realism. He has received numerous awards and has exhibited across the country and in Asia. His work is in many private and public collections including the British Museum and the National Portrait Gallery at the Smithsonian.
