It is in excellent condition. Jan Balet, German/French, (1913-2009) was born in Bremen, Germany. In 1938 he settled in America. He had a residence and studio in New York. In 1965 he moved to Munich and then France. In 1978 he settled in Estavayer-le-Lac, Switzerland. His works depict all of the joys in life. He worked as an illustrator of childrens books and also for the best known magazines of his time including Vogue, Glamour, Saturday Evening Post, and Good Housekeeping. His works are in many permanent museum collections in Europe. Price includes shipping, handling and insurance in the continental U.S.. |
