This is a limited edition, hand signed and numbered, unframed mixed media copper offset lithograph by Amram Ebgi. It is in excellent condition and comes with a certificate of authenticy.
Amram Ebgi, Moroccan/Israeli/American (1939- ), was born in Morocco. In 1951 he immigrated to Israel where he lived on a Kibbutz and began drawing and painting at the age of 16. In 1958, he received a scholarship to study at the Brooklyn Museum of Art in New York. In 1962, back on the kibbutz in Israel, he was given a studio and encouraged to sell his works. After fighting in the Six Day War, Ebgi returned to the kibbutz where he continued his art. He then continued his art study at Pratt Graphic Art Center in New York. In 1981, he relocated to Miami where he worked in his own studio. Ebgi no longer creates original art. His work has been commissioned by UNICEF, permanently displayed in the museum collections of Yale, Princeton and UCLA (among others),and exhibited around the world.
