Title: Windows of France Artist: Viktor Schvaiko Medium: Serigraph on Canvas Size with border: 19.5" x 16" Size of Image: 16" x 12" Edition: 180/950 Year: 2000 This is a limited edition, hand signed and numbered, unframed serigraph on canvas by Viktor Schvaiko. It is in excellent condition and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Viktor Schvaiko, Russian/American, was born in Altai, Russia. He studied at the Novoaltaisk Artistic School for four years. Fleeing the stifling Russian bureaucracy, Viktor went to Yugoslavia and then Italy where he survived by selling his paintings on the streets of Rome. Shvaiko eventually returned to a more liberalized Russia and then obtained passage to the United States where he developed a fondness for painting cityscapes and cafes. Shvaiko, known for his realism, has paintings in several museums in Russia. He has exhibited in the United States and Canada. The price includes shipping, handling and insurance in the continental United States. |
