It is in excellent condition and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Leonid Afremov, Belarus/American (1955- ), was born in Vitebsk, Belarus. He graduated from the Vitebsk Art School, which was founded by Legendary Marc Chagall in 1921, and like Chagall, he favors the use of a palette knife rather than a paintbrush. He later moved to Israel and shortly thereafter to the United States where he resides and continues to paint in his Florida - based studio.
