Antique English Victo,Silver Cigarette Case
This magnificent Victorian sterling silver cigarette case contains a medallion at the front with a crest above a banner that reads "Foy Pour Devoir (Faithful to Duty)". The interior has a gold wash and is stamped at both covers and includes the maker's initials "HTB" enclosed within a rectangle, a lion passant, an uncrowned leopard's head, the date letter "A" and the duty mark of the monarch (Queen Victoria 1). Size: Measurements are 3 1/4"L X 2 1/8"W. Condition: The case is in superb condition without any dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damages or repairs. according to the hallmark it is dated 1876.
