Pair of Original French Lalique Figures of Pheasants.
Rene Lalique, who died in 1945 is famous for beautiful glass which he made from the 1890's to 1940. Rene Lalique glass production was quite extensive and varied ranging from car mascots (radiator caps), clocks, mirrors, perfume bottles and wonderful decorative vases. Rene Lalique produced these wonderful objects in an Art Nouveau and later in Art Deco style. Lalique's creations are "highly collected" by all levels of collectors and Rene Lalique glass has been exhibited in numerous museums all over the world. Pair of French Lalique figures of pheasants, signed, the male bird has a height of 6 3/4 inches. Condition Report: The pair are in great condition with the sign of repair under beak of male bird. .
