stands for beauty, purity and fertility. Her four hands represent the four ends of human life: dharma or righteousness, "kama" or desires, "artha" or wealth,
and "moksha" or liberation from the cycle of birth and death. Description: Very well executed ivory carving of the Hindu deity Lakshmi in traditional pose atop
a lotus flower. Ivory figure measures 12.25 inches high, including the 2.25 inches wooden pedestal. Condition Report: Excellent condition.
