| Genre painting of a flower seller by Cristobal de Antonio (Spanish, b.1870), c.1900. Oil on wood panel. Size: 24" x 19.5". Cristobal de Antonio is known for his genre paintings of the French aristocracy and attractive ladies. In this work, a flower seller stands before her flower shop, receiving payment for a bouquet of red roses from a gentleman in fancy 18th century dress, while his footmen wait with his sedan chair. Offered in the original frame (some damage to frame). Very good condition to painting. | ||
