| Small ink pot entirely decorated with mythical scenes in relief and stylized lotus on its neck and base. A loop on each shoulder for attachment. Bronze, with dark-green patina, encrusted in some areas. Nepal, 18th century, maybe earlier. Height: 2 3/4" (7 cm). A rare and superb example of the famous Newar bronzes. | |||||||||
