Ancestor Amulet 2, Indonesia, Dayak Peoples

Small amulet in the shape of an ancestor ("hampatong"), standing on a rounded base, his hands joined at abdomen level. Wood, fine dark-brown semi-glossy patina. Indonesia, Borneo Island, Dayak Peoples. Height: 3 5/8" (9,3 cm). The piece is mounted on a wood stand. Very good condition despite a small crack (no danger) at the base.
