Jean-Claude travelled to Canada for the first time as a student. He fell in love at first sight. As luck would have it, he was posted in Montreal in the late 70's and met his wife, Marie-Josee. After living all over Asia for twenty years, they went back to the Province of Quebec. The fall landscapes with their incredible colors have inspired many of his paintings. Just walk right into this one and feel the colors... A footnote: This painting won a prize at the Castres Spring Show in 2008. It was selected by the visitors to the exhibition as the best painting. Acrylic / Acrylique, 81 x 116 cm. |
