Oil on board, 19" x 25" (482 x 635mm.), the rainbow of thinly-applied colors broadly brushed horizontally and diagonally, the horses and jockeys outlined in white (that of the unpainted ground) by strokes through the several colors. Signed lower right. Attractive 3"-wide, brown-stained wood frame (slight wear). Signature somewhat faded; otherwise in fine condition. Probably, painted in the 1980s.
