| BAILEY. Oil on panel, 17 1/2" x 23 1/2", in muted shades of green, pink and gray; signed ("Bailey") lower left. Attractive 2 3/4"-wide beige-stained wood frame. The painting is executed on a canvas panel which is attached to the frame with brads (small nails) driven (nearly) horizontally through the outer (rear) layer of the panel in order to secure it to the wood frame; this is, in all probability, the painting's original frame. Fine condition. An atmospheric painting of a densely wooded forest. No date; probably, a work from the 1960s. We have no information on the artist. | ||||||
