| A black-painted carved wood picture frame, 17 1/2" x 13 1/2" (sight), 3 1/4" frame width (outer dimensions of frame, 24" x 20"), the raised sight edge carved with circles within elliptical grooves, the deep, wide, serpentine curve along the outer edge echoed by the large (2 3/4" x 1") hemispherical pieces cut from the edge. The slightest wear only; a small quantity of paper tape remains adhering to a two-inch portion of the sight edge. No date (probably, second third of the twentieth century). | ||||||
