Solid, crosscut Burl wood (Hua mu) brush washer in good condition. This item has polish by Chinese lacquer. It is kind of exceptional for my item polish in high gloss finish, but the piece has old gold lacquer around the body, I think it is the best way to preserve the gilt lacquer.
Late 19th Century. Beijing, North China. Dimension: Width 6 x Depth 5 x Height 2 1/4 inch (Width 15 x Depth 13 x Height 5.5 cm) *I also have a similar piece with original burgundy lacquer. (Please check Inventory #10197) |
