| An English Georgian double series air twist wine glass dating to c1750-55. The round funnel bowl has a good copper wheel engraved period design below the rim. The stem is a beautifully worked example comprising a pair of outer spiral threads and an inner spiral cable. The foot is conical with a rough pontil. Perfect condition; with a very slight tilt to the bowl. Height: 5 15/16” Rim Diameter: 2 1/16” Foot Diameter: 2 9/16” DSAT’s are rather scarce and this is a beautiful and delicate example elevated somewhat by the engraving to the bowl. Please note that any disturbances seen at the foot of this glass in my photo’s is caused by moisture from the surface the glass is resting on. It was rather damp during my photo session! | ||
