| A large English Georgian wine goblet dating to C1740. A trumpet bowl with drawn plain stem containing a well positioned tear; mounted on a conical folded foot with rough pontil. Lead glass with a good dark tone and silky feel to the metal and in fine condition with good tooling marks and the odd mineral inclusion expected for this period. Height: Just over 8 ½ Rim: Just under 4 3/8 Foot: 4 A wonderful glass for the collector or wine connoisseur who likes to use period glasses occasionally. | ||
