| A very nice excellent condition Shaker doll outfitted by the shakers. The dress, cloak and bonnet are all made exactly like the adult Shaker bonnets and dresses and cloaks right down to the smallest details. Rarely do I get a Shaker doll in this fine condition. The dress still has the basting stitches along the hem to keep the pleats straight. This dolls dates to the late 1900's. The dress and cloak are an off white with a hint of pink. The poplar bonnet is in perfect shape and has a pink neck ruffle. This is a great Shaker doll. (The Shakers outfitted the dolls that they bought or were given so it is not the doll that is valuable it is the outfit on the doll.)Please look at all five pictures. | ||
