| Early 19th C. love token with 5 hearts and wreaths of hair. Could be 5 friends or possible even 5 sisters with cut out paper hearts with their names and then locks of hair held down with red sealing wax. They are on a light blue paper and the hearts are cut out and applied on the same color paper. The hair is all different with two in very nice tightly braided wreaths and the others in loop. Would look very nice framed. It is mounted on a larger cream colored paper that is 7" by 4 1/2". I very nice piece of early folk art. Circa 1830. | ||
