| Antique cloth doll with leather face and arms. Her features are brown ink drawn. She has an hour glass body that is all hand sewn. She is fairly firmly stuffed with very fine straw. Her body is homespun linen and her arms are kid leather. I think this doll could be 1870 or earlier. She has an old dress but not original and pantaloons and black socks that are sewn on. On her head she has hair sewn on but it looks like she had a pate with hair originally as the leather doesn't go all the way to the top of her head. She is a nice early rag doll with an all original body. | ||
