| Early black stockinette doll with prominent wooden nose covered with the black stocking material. She has button eyes, and a red floss mouth shaped on an oval, I imagine she is singing. Her head is round and firmly packed and on either side she has wonderful applied cloth ears. Her hands are defined by a string tied around the wrist and her feet are just faintly shaped. Her dress is much earlier than she is and has lots of condition problems and her bonnet is about the same age she is, circa 1910-1920. Her body is stuffed quite firmly and so are her legs but her legs may have rags too. She is a very different and nice black cloth doll. | ||
