Antique Native American doll pen wipe, wish bone
19th C Native American pen wipe doll made with a wish bone and spruce gum and layers of fine navy blue wool. The doll has a carved face on a head of spruce gum with black wool hair in two braids. The wool covers the wish bone and then has several layers of wool with pinked edges and then and outer piece of wool as a blanket wrap. She has a note attached that reads "Once I was a wishbone and grew within a hen, Now I am a little slave made to wipe you pen. She is very nice and not used so she is in very good condition. She is 6" tall and is circa 1880-1900.
