Two great stockinette sister stump dolls with button eyes, nice pinched noses and tight little red floss line mouths. They have softly stuffed bodies that feels like it might be down and both are constructed with sticks serving as back bones to keep them straight and their necks from flopping. They are well made and all hand done. I added two bonnets that I think accentuate their dear faces. Their arms are long and terminate in defined stitched fingers. They are so folky and look so great on a shelf, just amazing. The older sister is 17" tall and her little sister is 12" tall. Their bodies are fine early cotton that has aged to a soft yellow. The little one has on a blue pullover blouse that came with her. She has on an early Amish bonnet. The big sister has just her unclothed body and a blue calico bonnet on her head. They are circa 1920 and great folk art dolls
