Sweet little girl in a tintype photo framed in a homemade folk art velvet frame. Her dress is a plaid and she has high button shoes. She stands of either a painted floor cloth of a geometric hooked rug. The very dark maroon velvet is wrapped over cardboard and show nice age, is of the period and is nicely finished off. The tintype is 2 1/2" by 3 2/4" and with the frame it is 5" by 8". When held the velvet frame bends a little right at the top of the tintype. I love these little homemade frames with tintypes of children. Circa 1860-70
