This big 24" rag stuffed doll has lots of patches and lots of charm. Her face is the original one with the newer one removed. She has a pencil face with round eyes, straight line nose and straight line mouth. She has a very sweet look. Her body has patches and holes. The holes show the dark blue calico cloth stuffing. She has pinned on brown socks with her original feet underneath. Her arms are attached and she has nice fingers and thumbs. The left hand has some crude repairs to the palm of the hand. Her legs are continuous with her body but they bend nicely so she can sit. She has on a full slip that is very fine cotton and a white very fine cotton dress with crocheted bodice and bands of crocheting around the skirt. The dress is very worn but the overall appearance is nice. I added her hat. She is circa 1890 and is ready to be asked to tea.
