This doll has a lot going for her. (The lines that you see on her face are two seams and the rest are slight ripples in the fabric that are catching the light, there are no tears). She is all original and she is an older woman with gray hair. She has a tired expression on her face but her face is still kindly looking. Her dress is a gauze type of material with a black and tan flower design. She has a slip and pantaloons. Her arms and legs are jointed. She is stuffed with cotton medium firm. She has a thin spot on her face and a small tear on her foot. Her face is embroidered and her gray hair is knotted yarn, very interesting technique and I have never seen it before. She is made with a black sateen. She is 21" tall and circa 1920.
