A rag doll all hand sewn including her dress. She has a faded but nice pencil face that shows up a little better in person. She is made with linen and stuffed with rags. I can't see the rags but she is dense and firm so I can't think of anything that would be as firm. Under her dress she has a blue calico skirt and then a pair of pantaloons. She has mitten hand with a distinct thumb. Her arms and legs are jointed so she sits nicely. Her dress is sewn on so I can't get at her and she is the way I bought her. Her head fabric looks like the rest of her so it could be her original face or it could be a very old second covering. She is 21" tall and is from the last quarter of the 1800's.
