| Fine, early, and very rare Handel Dutch scenic desk or table lamp measuring 14" wide and 22" high with wind mills, farm buildings, trees, and sail boats spread along a Dutch landscape at dusk. The shade of etched chipped ice glass is signed Handel on its lip and also with the PB initials for Handel's esteemed Dutch artist Peter Broggi, considered by some Handel's finest and most prolific painters. The lamp base is also one of Handel's most desirable Peacock feather form with the feathers rising from the base edge to the center column. The lamp base retains a dark brown patina and is signed Handel as well. | |
