| Beautiful Handel reverse/obverse painted lmp with a band of poppy blooms, pods, and leaves in a wide band encircling the shade in a 3 dimensional effect. The shade has no chips, cracks or repairs and is in excellent original condition. The Handel signed reeded base is also in excellent condition with no wear, a very dark bronze patina with green verdigris highlights, two Hubbell sockets with acorn pulls, and fresh cloth wiring. The shade is signed Handel 7149 and artist signed M. P. for Mary Palme on the inside of the 14" shade. The artwork is crisp and with great overall color. The overall height of the lamp is 21". | |
