| Vellum glaze vase with stylized rose hip, leaf and vine decoration encircling the upper half of the vase. Colors range from light blue under the decoration to pale yellow-beige below with the inside a steel blue. Great contrast and style as is known in the work of Fred Rothenbusch. Marks include the Rookwood logo, date, shape number 356, and Fred Rothenbusch's Cipher. Height 6 5/8 inches. Very clean example and completely uncrazed. | |
