| Great 1920's Lightolier boudoir lamp with the shade reverse painted in a background color of varied greens and blues then masterfully painted with large sprays of Hollyhock leaves and blooms. The lamp is pictured both base and shade on pg. 111 of Better Electric Lamps of the 20's and 30's published by LW Book Sales. The lamp measures 16" tall and 7" wide and retains it's original ivory enameled finish on a gracefully formed base highlighted with flowers. The lamp shade is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or missing paint. The base retains it's original ivory enamel, fittings and flame finial. The lamp has been rewired with period cloth wiring and has a new socket. | |
