| A fine and beautiful hand painted plate from the Handel factory. It depicts a great horned owl flying over the forest at night in search of prey. The colors are burnt orange with browns. The owl is beautifully painted. I would love to see a Handel lamp with this scene. It is signed "Handel. 4083F", and artists signed "LOEHNER" (Gustave Loehner). The plate measures 9 1/2 inches across and 1 1/4 inches in height. Note: The picture shows a camera flashback at the top center of the plate. | |
