| A beautiful lamp for bedside or as an accent lamp at a shade width of 10 inches and overall height of 17 inches. Unfortunately the shade has been damaged with two clean cracks along the backside of the center hole and professionally repaired - perfectly stable. Can be used without fear of costly damage or placed up against the wall with the damage unseen. Lamp is primarily a green/burgundy molted color with green vines, leaves and burgundy grapes along the edge – really beautiful. There have been no paint touchups at all. A lamp of this caliber would bring $3500 at auction undamaged. The base is fairly rare at this size and was mostly sold to those purchasing the Handel floor lamp with 10 inch shade that may wish to convert to a table lamp since the 10 inch shades were interchangeable. The base is in excellent condition with original patina, hardware, acorn pull and Hubble socket. The shade is signed Handel 6849 and JM for Jules Meyers. The base is also signed Handel. | |
