| Gustav Stickley table shown in the Stickley catalogs as number 660 is rare and desirable among discriminating collectors as the best designed among arts and crafts period tables. The table has its original finish, overhanging top in excellent condition, and angled cant to the legs. Color is medium brown with reddish highlights and has a great patina that collectors demand. Signed Stickley and joiners compass (see picture)and partial paper label under the top. The stand measures 20" high 18" wide x 18" deep. Very heavy high quality solid quartered oak used in the entire piece, with clean edges and very tight construction. This table last achieved $3000 including commission in a major Winter 2004 auction and that piece was in poor condition, while our piece is similarly priced and in excellent condition.
