| Exceptional Arts & Crafts/Mission table lamp. Base is a very dark red/brown patinated hammered copper with four large rivets attaching copper cross designs at the bottom of the column. The shade is composed of eight slag glass panels of granite backed slag glass in multi tones of green and brown with the metal of the shade in a verdigris finish riveted together at connecting points. The lamp was once a gas fixture but was converted to electric at the beginning of the 20th century and measures 21 inches high with the maximum width of the shade being 18 inches. No damage to lamp, shade or glass. Made in the best craftsman tradition of the period by hand and with great skill, making this quite a centerpiece and superb addition to your arts and crafts home. | |
