A Goryeo dynasty Korean bronze bottle with good green patina, 13th century. It measures 33cm high X about 17cm diameter, or 13 inches X 6 3/4 inches. It is unbroken, but has two small old lead repairs visible in the images. There are two shallow dents in the body, one below a light scrape mark extending down from the neck base. Each has a decoupage design of yin-yang symbols on top, sides and ends and is lined with paper on the interior with stamped designs in blue. A beautifully designed elm scholar's desk, 19th century. This desk's sides are pierced with jui-I or fungus head designs, its single drawer has a brass loop pull and the top is a single elm plank. Measurements are 13.25 inches high X 27 inches wide X 12.5 inches deep, or 34cm X 69cm X 32cm. Finish is original but cleaned superficially. There are repairs to two feet.

A Korean elm chest with iron fittings, 19th century. Measuring 9 inches high X 16.5 inches wide X 11.5 inches deep, or 23cm X 42cm X 29cm, this chest has a hinged top, lock plate and is bound with 34 narrow half-round straps. Owing to an unfortunate incident with a cat, it has had some finish work on its top. The original finish largely has been preserved, however, on the top, back and sides. Iron fittings are original.

Coming from the Kaya kingdom along the south coast of Korea, this smoothly modeled jar dates to 400-500 A.D. It measures 21.cm high X 21cm diameter, or 8.5 inches X 8 inches. Its base is pierced with three small round holes. There are faint traces of kiln gloss on the shoulders. A small rim chip has an associated crack extending down the shoulder. It is part of a large group of early Korean stonewares from two private collections.
