This hornbill snuff bottle has an integral elaborate chain for suspension from its stand. It is engraved with an inscription on one side and has relief boys at play opposite. Measurement for the bottle is 8cm or 3 1/8", exclusive of the suspension chain. It dates to c. 1960-1970. There is a chip to the red area on one side, visible in an attached image. This model of Samantabhadra or Fugen seated on an elephant dates to c. 1900-1930. It was mounted on an elaborate gilded wood lotus lamp base, available if the buyer wants it. The figure has a finely crackled clear glaze and is undamaged. It was mounted through a hole in the base original to the piece. It measures 33.3cm high X 30cm wide, or 13 inches X 12 inches.

A double-gourd sake bottle in the style of late Ming Chinese porcelain for the Japanese market, by Eiraku Sokusen, 20th century. A seal stamped just above the base reads Eiraku. Strongly influenced by shonzui wares, this bottle depicts boys playing in a garden with pinwheels and a large character. It measures 21cm or 8 inches high. No damage. No box
