| A Japanese hanging scroll format painting in ink and colors on silk, by Kogai Kawamura (1861-1932). Its style is heavily influenced by Chinese painting, especially the work of Lan Ying. This work has greenish-gold brocade mounting, bone rollers and an unmatching wood box. The mounting is in fine condition. The painting itself has slight foxing. Measurements are 46 1/2" long X 13" wide for the image, 70" long X 19 1/2" wide overall, or 118.3cm X 33cm and 178cm X 50cm. Width includes roller knobs. | ||
