| A powerfully modeled Oribe stoneware tray with openwork sides, early 19th century. The interior sides and center bear the impression of a coarse textile. A copper green wash shading to red in areas and underglaze iron brown tama or jewel in the center cover the irregular impressed textile pattern. Measurements re 6.1cm H X 17.1cm X 18.1cm or 2 1/2 X 6 3/4 X 7 inches. There are two large chips to the corners. Fitted old wood storage box. | ||
