This fine rib mixing bowl was made by federal Glass Company in the 1920's. 6 3/4 inches in diameter, the base is square so that the bowl rests flat when in use. This bowl was sold as part of a nesting set of mixing bowls - here's your chance to complete your set. Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1154 sweet pea vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in pink cased glass. (A layer of pink glass over an inner milk-white layer, this treatment is very rare as it was only made from 1938 to about 1940.)The vase is approximately 4 1/2 inches high and in perfect condition...
