A 1930s - 1940s British brooch pin in the form of majestic eagle cleverly carved out of horn. Is ~ 2 3/4" long and ~ 2 3/4" tall. Weighs 5.4 grams The horn has a beautiful variation of colors ranging from cream to toffee to golden brown to chocolate brown. The brass clasp mechanism is riveted onto the back and is in good working order. This brooch came from a home in England.
