This hand painted leaf-shaped celery measures approx. 10" and has a loop handle. It is a pattern called Summertime made by Southern Potteries in Erwin, TN. It bears the #5 mark of Blue Ridge China, Hand Painted Underglaze, Southern Potteries, Inc, Made in U.S.A. which dates around 1945. It is in near-perfect condition with no chips or cracks but has a small place on a brown leaf that looks like it was touched when the glaze was wet. It is minor as I didn't even notice it when I bought it.

Offered is the sandwich grill in the Basketweave Wild Flowers pattern made by the Porcelier Manufacturing Company around 1938 in the U.S.A!! And you thought George Foreman invented the electric grill!!! For it's age, it is in remarkable condition. I found one very small flat chip on the side where the china meets the grill. I thought it was a dirt smudge and when trying to clean it discovered it was a chip. I cannot find anything else except some loss of the silver trim...
