| Gorgeous enamel miniature portrait by Mathieu-Deroche. c.19th century. Approximately 1 3/4" x 1 3/8". It is set in the original display case. The case is marked MINIATURES, Mathieu-Deroche, with his Paris address. It is of an elderly woman in a black dress with a white collar that has a black buckle under the collar. She is wearing a white hat with a band of black. She is wearing black button earrings. She could possibly be a nurse. It has outstanding detail and is signed on the reverse in red with his address in Paris. It is in excellent condition. | |||||||||||||||
