| For sale is a lovely watercolor painting by American artist, Frank F. English, Delaware/Pennsylvania 1854-1922. Signed lower right F.F. English. Approximately 15 3/4" x 24 1/2" WITH the frame. 12 3/4" x 21 1/2" WITHOUT the frame. The frame is original to the painting. There is a lable on the back from FITZGERALD BOOKS, BOOK & ART CO. HOLYOKE MASS. It looks like his other paintings of the Delaware River Gap. Frank F. English was a Delaware-Pennsylvania artist who lived from 1854-1922. He studied at the PA Academy of Fine Arts and was a member of the Philadelphia Sketch Club. His specialty was landscapes in watercolor. He is listed in Who was Who in American Art, Mallett and Mantle Fieldings. Very good condition. | ||||||||||
