An exceptionally large 19th. century Tibetan Gau or travelling shrine in the original quilted carrying case. The front is solid silver embossed with Buddhistic symbols. It measures 16 by 14 ins.(41 by 36 cms.) and is 4 ins,(10 cms.) deep.
