American Brilliant Cut Glass Pitcher richly cut with deep vessicas, stars, and other embellishments. The bulbous body tapers to wide neck with scalloped rim. The attached heavily faceted handle has a flat top. The underside has 32 point star. The blank is very clear. Condition is superb. Marked Libbey on the handle top. This pitcher is a superior example of brilliant cut glass in general but of hollow ware in particular. Height: 7 1/2"

An exceptional and rare cameo glass bride basket on quadruple silver plate stand. The rose colored cameo is striking and as fresh today as it was c. 1880 when it was first created. The glass was produced by Mt Washington while the silverplate was produced by Pairpoint and is so marked. The basket handle uses a branch and leaf motif with the latter being applied over the former. The basket well is reticulated, the base having swirls and leaves, all standing on 4 feet...

You would be forgiven if you thought that this vase was made by Tiffany since its maker, Alton Manufacturing, hired away several Tiffany glass makers to start its production of competing wares in 1907, the only year the company produced glass.

This example of the Trevaise branding, analagous to favrile, has a flaring bulbous form with mauve ground and freely flowing and lingering tendrils with leaves attached, punctuated with white flowering blossoms...

This fine antique Baccarat bottle with its optic swirl device was created in the Rubina style which features and red to clear coloration. The jar has a weight worthy of its pedigree, and dates to early 20th century. The hollow stopper is marked with the same number as the base of the bottle, confirming that the two are a match.

Condition is excellent though the glass may have manufacturing imperfections.

This vase stands out with its beautiful cranberry color with rich jeweled honey gilding accented with white scrollwork and blue swags. The sinuous form enhances the overall elegance of its Art Nouveau inspired sensibilities.

Unmarked but clearly Bohemian in origin. We date this class to c. 1910 or earlier.

Condition is excellent with some very minor losses to the gilding

A marvelous pair of Dresden or Old Paris porcelain candlesticks with carefully painted cherubs holding to each nozzle while upholding while perched on stumps. The winged characters are draped with modesty scarves which swirl around the sticks. The quatrefoil bases are embellished with gold and encrusted with pink flowers.

The slightly brassy gilding cause me to date these beautiful candlesticks as early as 1880 since they are unmarked, to as late as 1910...

This porcelain masterpiece was produced by the famous British firm commonly known as Royal Crown Derby a name owing to the trademark featuring the royal crown patented to the firm by George III. The designers spared no expense in the production of this lavish rarity which stands stout on 4 paw feet reminiscent of the Chippendale style. The bowl is carefully and brilliantly painted with roses, vines, and fern leaves in gold...

These magnificent Empire or Regency tazzas are composed of the finest design and craftsmanship capturing the neoclassical motifs made popular by the excavations in the Near and Middle East which started in earnest in the late 18th century.

The base is triangular lifted by paw feet above which stand cherubic girls bearing baskets of produce. Behind them are scrolling stalks which uphold circular rim, decorated with serpentine ribbons to which are fastened observant angels...

The Jacob Petit factory at Fontainebleau produced these porcelain cornucopia vases Century 1840. The lavish cornucopias are mounted on rectangular bases decorated with rocaille and gilded swags and vines; the corners are finished with swans. The horn is molded, painted with flowers in reserve on each side. The rim is a rococo staple of undulating flourishes, decorated in gold in the upper interior. The base has a peach wash; the horn in a robin's egg blue palette...

These exceptional vases decorated in the Chinese style were produced by the firm inherited by Charles Mason who secured rights to the famous Mason's Patented Ironstone in 1813. The pottery made porcelain as well, but I believe that these vases are of ironstone...

A mulberry transfer English Staffordshire plate in the Athens pattern by William Adams & Sons made c. 1850. The inking is crisp and sharp, even on the backside as evidenced by the clear registry mark. The shape has 14 edges. Adams was one of the longest lived potters in England, operating as late as the 1990s.

Condition is Excellent.

Although Adderley is often credited by sellers as the maker of all Blue Chelsea series of table wares, the truth is that it was produced by many makers. This coffee pot is unmarked but clearly a fine Staffordshire example.

An exceptionally well done Bohemian souvenir crystal glass goblet of souvenir type depicting various attractions in Bavaria, Austria, and Bohemia. The complex glass was made with 5 parts starting with a faceted scalloped base, a faceted plinth with flashed grape leaves, a ruby spacer, then a short faceted stem with supports a large Grecian urn style bowl with more flashed leaves, and then the showpiece medallions of frosted etched historic sites on ruby flashed ground.
